2. Event Authority

The NEC Eenting 2025-26 shall be conducted by 61 Cavalry at Jaipur from 01 Sep 2026 to 15 Sep 2026. The event shall be conducted as per rules and regulations of EFI, as applicable, along with instructions issued in this prospectus and subsequent amendments. The Organising Committee reserves the right to amend, add, delete, combine, postpone or cancel any class/event in the interest of safety, entries received, weather, ground conditions or administrative requirements.

9. Eligibility of Riders

Riders from clubs, army units, academies, schools and invited individual riders may participate subject to acceptance by the Organising Committee. Riders must possess valid registration/membership/identity details as required. Minor riders must submit parent/guardian consent where required.

10. Eligibility of Horses

Horses must be fit to compete and must satisfy veterinary, vaccination and identification requirements. Horse passport, vaccination record, EFI/FEI registration, ownership/authority letter and fitness documents may be required at the show office or vet inspection. The organiser may refuse or withdraw acceptance of any horse if identity, ownership, vaccination or fitness documentation is incomplete.

11. Entry Procedure

Entries shall be submitted through Online Entry Portal. Riders, club secretaries or authorised representatives shall submit rider details, horse details, class entered, payment option and documents. 13. Team and Individual Entries

Classes may be individual, team, team plus individual, or HC/non-competing as shown in the class schedule. Team size, scores to count, reserve rider, mixed-club teams and team declaration deadline shall be as notified by the organiser. Team/individual status must be declared before the start order is finalised unless the organiser permits a later correction.

14. Vet Inspection

Vet inspection shall be conducted on 01 Sept at Polo Lines. All horses entered in relevant classes must be presented. Decision of veterinarian/ground jury regarding fitness shall be final.

17. Draw of Lots and Start Order

Start orders shall be prepared after scrutiny of entries, vet clearance and payment status where applicable. For team classes, the organiser may use a suitable interleaving pattern so riders from the same team are not unnecessarily bunched together. HC entries may be placed first, last or mixed according to the class setup. The organiser may manually adjust the draw for safety, horse welfare, rider conflict, arena logistics or administrative reasons.

18. Rules of Competition

19. Dress, Saddlery and Equipment

Riders shall wear proper riding attire and approved protective headgear whenever mounted. Body protectors may be compulsory for cross-country/eventing or any class where required by the organiser. Saddlery, bits, spurs, whips and equipment must comply with the applicable discipline rules and steward instructions.

20. Practice and Warm-up

Practice and warm-up areas shall be open only during organiser-notified timings. Only authorised obstacles, arenas and routes may be used. Warm-up discipline shall be controlled by stewards, and unsafe or abusive riding may lead to elimination or removal from the show ground.

21. Scoring, Results and Prizes

Scoring shall be as per the discipline rules and any class-specific notes published by the organiser. Results shall be treated as provisional until checked and approved by the authorised official. Prizes, medals, trophies, certificates, best rider/horse awards and prize money shall be as announced by the organiser.

22. Objections and Protests

Objections must be submitted in writing within the notified time limit after publication of the relevant result or decision. Protest fee: 10000 Decision of the Ground Jury, Appeal Committee or authorised show authority shall be final as per applicable rules.

23. Medical, Veterinary and Farrier Support

24. Safety, Discipline and Liability

Participation is at the risk and responsibility of rider, owner, parent/guardian, club/unit and authorised representative. The Organising Committee shall not be responsible for injury, loss, accident, damage, illness, theft or death of rider, horse, groom, spectator, vehicle or property except where law provides otherwise. Abuse of horse, unsafe riding, indiscipline, disorderly conduct or breach of instructions may lead to elimination, withdrawal of entry or removal from the show ground.

25. Accommodation, Messing and Transport

Accommodation, messing and transport may be provided subject to availability and prior request. Charges, booking process and contact details shall be notified separately by the organiser. Participants are responsible for confirming arrangements before arrival.

26. Media and Publicity

By entering the event, participants consent to photography, videography, live streaming and publication of names, images, start orders, scores and results. Drone photography or restricted-area filming is permitted only with organiser approval.

27. Cancellation / Postponement

The Organising Committee may cancel, postpone, reschedule or curtail the event due to weather, ground condition, disease outbreak, force majeure, safety or administrative reasons. Updated instructions shall be published through the official show communication channels.

Entries shall be submitted through Online Entry Portal. Select rider, horse and class carefully using the registry records. Upload required documents and payment proof where applicable. Entries remain subject to organiser review and acceptance.
